In order to win a set, you can do different things earn points:
- Watching Live-Games: 0.05 points per minute (+ 0.03 points per Bloodstone charge*).
- Using Live-Stats: 0.25 points every 5 minutes. WE ADD A REPLACEMENT
- Invite others to watch: 1.0 points per sign-up (new users have to earn at least 5 points to count).
(*) Bloodstone charges = Viewers that followed your personal (match-)links to watch games on dailydota2.
How-To
Rubberband of Fairness
To create a fair event, we are adding a rubberband effect to new & top users. While everybody gets 1x points for the first 24h, after that the 1. place only gets 0.3x points, the 2. & 3. place gets 0.5x points and the 4. - 6. place gets 0.7x points. New users that register later this week will receive a 2x bonus for 24 hours.
Pro Tipp
The key of this event is to gather as much Bloodstone charges as possible and keep this value up. To get Bloodstone charges, you can share your personal match-links with others on Facebook, Twitter, VK or even message boards or forums. Users that follow your links will be counted as Bloodstone charges while watching games. But be careful! If a user follows a personal link from someone else, he will obtain your Bloodstone charge! If you need proper screenshots of dailydota2 for forum posts, you'll find them on IMGUR. Finally, be sure that you don't SPAM around your links. Excessive spam will be banned.
